We came across this old and very beaten up picture of a relative of ours. He served in the Marines during WW II and died during a mission at the age of 18 years. He was awarded the "Purple Heart" for his bravery, and he earned a medal as "Sharpshooter". I felt compelled to restore the weathered picture - hence the "Before & After".
Although restoration is certainly not my strength, I believe, I was able to revive this picture and give the character back his essence. Anyone dare to do better ??
